Lisa Ziemer: Turning a Problem into a Solution
There are people who start a company because they’ve spotted a gap in the market. And then there are people like Lisa Ziemer, who act out of pure frustration and create something great from it.
Over ten years ago, Lisa lived in a condominium where communication was catastrophic and transparency nonexistent. Instead of accepting it, she did what defines her: She tackled the problem head on. Together with co-founders, she started IBA Technology Consultants LLC. The beginning was bumpy, but it quickly became clear that the demand for specialized software for condominium and HOA associations was huge. They focused entirely on this space, and the CONDUU software family was born.
From Jack of All Trades to Strategist
In the early years, Lisa had to do everything. Today, her main focus is on customer relations, product development, and brand strategy. Three areas that fit her perfectly.
“If there’s a challenge, I won’t stop until I find a solution for my clients,” she says. And anyone who knows Lisa knows: This isn’t a marketing phrase. It’s simply how she operates.
Her business partner Andy sums her up well: warm, authentic, honest, and down to earth. Someone you can trust. Professional and reliable. But also someone with a wonderful personality, someone you can laugh with and genuinely enjoy spending time with.
Why CONDUU Works
Serving on a board in condominium associations isn’t easy: politics, personality clashes, conflicts of interest. Owners and residents often feel caught in the middle. CONDUU helps by improving communication, increasing transparency, reducing unnecessary work, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
What Lisa particularly appreciates about her work is the diversity of her clients: “Sometimes things are straightforward, sometimes challenging, but I enjoy adapting to different personalities and finding the best way to work with each of them.”
This ability to connect with people makes her not only a good business partner but also someone who’s simply easy to work with.
Beyond Work
Lisa loves traveling to new places, going to the movies alone, DIY projects, and surfing when she gets the chance. Independent, curious, someone who gets things done.
Lisa Ziemer turned a personal frustration into a company that makes life easier for thousands of people. Not through fancy marketing, but by actually solving problems and refusing to give up until it works.
